  • If i buy a glass at Smalldog, will i be able to put it back on without new tape after removing the original? My glass broke

  • @MrThomasTurbo ESD Anti-Static Wrist strap. What it does is it take the static discharge from your body and discharges it to an outlet. Most Tech's including myself plug them into a ESD mat and they both get grounded to an outlet. Static electricity is one of the #1 killers of internal components of electronics.

  • A dog? Really? Surely you want as dust and pet hair free environment as possible if you're taking computers apart?

"Thanks for replacing my cracked screen, but there's dog hair underneath the glass"

  • This is one of many reason's why i do not like Macbook... Why is it soo complicated to replace the LCD... This expensive pice of crap uses glue :|... Why Mac do you make it this hard... But to those that know how to fix it say this is easy but if u fix PC's as well ud know PC is lot easier to fix... Don't need to worry about braking things as much as u do on a Mac or bending certian Mac's... Any ways good video :)

  • what's that thing on you're arm?

    ball and chain.

  • you look like scott pilgram

  • I accidentally broke the glass of my mac book 13". I gave my mac to an apple technician.. the glass has been replaces but now there are four new problems.

1 The camera of my mac is not working (when I turn my photo booth on it says "the camera is not connected")

2 The Bluetooth of my mac is not working (Bluetooth option from system preferences has vanished).

3 The backlight of the keypad is not working

4 There is a different kind of sound that is coming out of the laptop

    please do reply.

  • @brainslay3r that is true BRAINSLAY333RRR but in order to put the inverter cable back to where it was originally placed which im sure youll have to do if your replacing the lcd, the cable isnt long enough to just simply "put back" it requires a full dissasemble.

  • any suggestions for if I have broken glass??? 15" macbook pro

  • @dustinfastrepair Wrong, the inverter cable can be disconnected from underneath the black cover. You can remove it without disassembling the bottom
