As fans of American Idol already know, Chris Medina's fiance, Juliana, was involved a serious car accident on October 2, 2009. She suffered a severe skull fracture, a traumatic brain injury and multiple fractures to her face. Her chances of surviving through the night were in doubt and it was much too soon to speculate about a full recovery.

Last November The Laurus Foundation was introduced to Juliana and her family. The Laurus Foundation's goal is to bring together organizations that are pioneering, developing or exploring the latest advancements in the fields of technology assistance, teaching and learning, communications, career and entrepreneurial training, health, healing and nutrition for individuals with disabilities.

The cost of Juliana's continuing recovery is certainly expensive, and while The Laurus Foundation works to match her with the right people to aid in her recovery, this special Idol Reject Tour and Watch Party will raise funds for The Laurus Foundation so that they may continue to do the amazing work that they do.
