Out of all people who have taken-up this monumental challenge (100 Men Kumite) in Kyokushin history Masuda shihan, in my view, took the most beating. But I must say, this can be attributed to the fact that he is the smallest of all those who have completed it. There was lots of sympathy from the part of his opponents. I think if they were going as hard on him as they did to Hajime Kazumi or Shokei Mastui and others, he wouldn't have made it.
