We don't take shortcuts in our speech (like ain't, ya'll, etc...) or in our education (my state was ranked number one in education for the past five years). Not all Southerners are stupid! I live in the south and lots of my friends grew up here. They are the nicest people I've ever met. We aren't insane. We're crazy, in a good kind of way.

But whenever people make fun of Sotherners, it really hurts my feelings.

But then again, why am I listening to people who hate the green grass and fresh air of the South?
