This H. venatoria hatchling arrived DOA, so I took the opportunity to take some pics and video and compile it into this slide show.

  • I've got a house full of these things - They scare the hell out of me! And you collect them?

  • Heh, that's the funny thing about pets. In their native lands, animals are often pests, but to others they make great pets. These guys are pretty harmless and they eat lots of bugs, so maybe you can learn to tolerate them!

  • Thanks, it was a hatchling about the size of a fruit fly. I guess shipping was too much for it. The other four are doing well and are eating fruit flies.
