THANK YOU THANK YOU AND THANK YOU AGAIN!!!!! At age five I played the heck out of this and stared at the cover for HOURS. While I thought they looked kinda scary I thought Pip and The King were my friends and sang just to me! The memories make me smile!! And cry a bit.

Thanks man, this is awesome to hear again. My 8 track got eaten in like '80, but I rocked this all the time before that. I can't tell you how cool this is, but I guess you already know. Thanks again.

This album brings back memories!! I think this was maybe the like 4th or 5th album I ever purchased??? I still have this album at my parent's house, think I'll drive over there and get it!! Thanx for the nostalgic post!!

Kinda sounds like wolfman jack
Just so everyone knows, I added a link to the stereo versions of Parts 1-3 of the album.
It's up there in the video description.
Believe me, it's a huge difference than the standard mono version!

Pardon me, MACGYVERKICKYOURASS, but since you obviously have a copy of The Pipkins' record with "Gimme Dat Ding", perhaps maybe you could tell me where I could get a copy of The Sweet's cover of The Archies' song "Get on the Line", since that was on the flip side of one of The Pipkins' records. They may have been known as "Sweetshop" at the time. Thanks!

Sorry, I honestly have no idea!
All I can tell you is that "Get on the Line" is the B-side to "All You'll Ever Get From Me"
This was my dad's record. Your best bet is likely to be eBay.
Sorry I can't help more!

I just wanted to thank you for your advice about that record! I took your advice and found it on ebay! My sister bought it for me, since I've sworn off credit cards, and gave it to me as an Easter present! I couldn't be happier with it! The music is marvelous! What's interesting to me is the original owner wrote his name and date on the back-a certain Nigel A. Rich, and it's dated "Christmas, 1972". I'm from The United States, and "Nigel" is not a common name here. Thanks again!

Hey, that's great to hear! Glad I could be of help!
And yes, it's always fun having the name of a record's previous owner. I've wanted to see if I could find some of them, but I've never bothered to.
