In which I suggest that public expense should perhaps be considered a little more when extending very lenient treatment to offenders.

Which organisation would you like to be in charge of punishing someone who offended against you: hmcs or HMCS?

  • So, did you go to the hearing to protest the absurdity of the situation?

  • @Maehedrose No. My time is worth something to me.

  • @lindybeige did you get your 15 pounds?

  • @raysetiger285 Not yet!

  • @lindybeige was the bike worth 15 pounds?

  • @shoopoop21 As much as £40, some say.

  • Personally, I say that all slimy prisoners such as this, who think they're special and are entitled to certain privileges should be immediately put through a wood chipper and fed to diseased livestock so their dumb asses won't be a burden on the government... but that's just me.

  • @blunaw1 I can't remember.

  • Your intro violated my ears D:

  • Is it bad that I actually obeyed you in the beginning?

Anyway, I do completely agree with your points, and I think you should have gone to the hearing to at least let the government know what other people think of their policies.

  • i may be able to shed a little light on this, you see no goverment wants a zero crime rate. to many politicians have worked behind the bar, or at least as a lawyer. that would destroy the industry they made alot of money from, and most probs thier kids will go into the trade. don`t get me wrong , violent crime and stolen metals.. and they`ll hit you hard but crime`s like these are almost encouraged. nail em to a cross with 2 broken knees and no more crime. but what would the leagals all do then.

  • I think its amazing that in modern day society a criminal can have more rights than the victim..... man i was born in the wrong time.

  • Don't forget interests. 7 years of, say, 10% interest and you'll get... 26,57 pounds. Combined with inflation etc. and it's almost a FORTUNE!

  • Is this 15 pounds thing a drinking game?

  • I would prbably have tossed the letter in the garbage thinking that it was a scam. Lower case letters.....sheesh

  • It's also fairly silly that if someone does something wrong, they get fined (I think you mentioned it was £15), but, if they do a second thing wrong, they have the possibility of not having to pay the fine for the first offense because they're being punished for a second one.
