2012 $500 Budget Gaming PC Build Part 2: First Build Day!

I'm assembling my rig in my engineering class, with some help from my teacher and friends. It's been a fun experience so far and it's coming along nicely.

I forgot to buy a DVD drive!!!!! LOL so that's now in the mail, i'll be using a friends drive until it comes in.

Tomorrow my plans are to finish wiring everything and load windows 7 onto it.

IM thinking about building a computer when i get my tax check, i was wondering if any solder is required in putting the parts together. Or i could just pay my friend to put it together for me xD

@mrgeo20 are you high? outperforms your friends i5... is it underclocked? I have a 2500k @ stock speeds and in every game ive played it destroys my friends 8120 @4.4ghz running the same gpu's.

@ItalyNerf It can run BF3 and DiRT3 on Ultra, it's only $100, it's unlocked, it performs like a champ, easy to OC, outperforms my friends i5, I'm not complaining.
