UPDATE: My drums are not triggered, but overlaid with samples that are blended with my real kit in the mixing stage. My kick is fully sampled. My toms are sampled from my own toms and a blend of a sample, and my snare is blended with 2 different samples blended at ~80% with ~20% of my real snare. Why do I sample my kit? Because it sounds like shit. I have an 8 year old Pearl export kit that is beat up and has crappy heads, and missing some lugs that disable the ability to keep tuning for more than 10 minutes of playing.
This is my favourite song off of 'Ritual' and I knew I needed to cover it as soon as I heard it. Everybody on my Facebook page voted for this song to be my next cover, but I knew if it didn't win I would do it eventually anyway. It took quite a bit to get a run I was satisfied with. This cover is pretty accurate but not 100%, due to kit limitations and my playing. It also took quite a long time to mix and get the video looking the way I wanted to look. Either way, I'm pretty happy with the final result, so enjoy!

This is clearly a different audio track than anything recorded with the video. So your stick height and things change but the volume of your snare is the exact same through the whole song? What a fake. Post up the real tracks, unedited.
