Interview about BG&E with Michel Ancel in 2003

Many fans of Beyond Good & Evil may not have seen this interview before, so now it's finally on Youtube for all to see. Michel Ancel(who's currently working on Rayman Raving Rabbids) says some very interesting things about BG&E, like the "children in war"-theme being inspired by the anime movie Grave of the Fireflies. I highly recommend that movie, by the way. I saw it because of this interview and it's a very good movie.

Heck no. Yeah, he did create the rabbids, but they were at first bad-ass villains. While working on rayman4, 1 of the guys in Ancel's team came up with this whole wii crap & ubisoft agreed to it. Ancel quit the project later.

The 1st 2 Rayman games, yeah they were great cuz Ancel was behind them. It was Ubisoft that ruined Rayman. Get ur facts right.

you guys are so right!!!! I am a true fan of this guy 7 he totally smacked Nintendo fans in the face with this Rabbid stuff. I was cool with it (at first) because natually, we were all thinking "he must be planning a real Rayman & Beyond Good & Evil for wii sometime soon" It (as a gamer) broke my heart when he said he have no plans to make Jade for wii :-(
