It is sad how poor maternal care is. Sometimes we often take for granted how risky giving birth is. We should take actions to promote more care for women.

india is really a very dirty place. i went there and it was disgusting. people pissing and taking sh*t everywhere. unhygenic food. corrupt police, widespread poverty, corrupt administration and judiciary, and worst of all their hindu religion. it says that sudras and outcasts and ritually dirty and must be not be touched by these upper class people. its worse than apartheid. it was so sad to see such nonsence enshirined as hindu religion. i was horrified and saddened and outraged at lies.

Off course having babes is their right, but bringing human beings to life requires responsibilities, if you can not afford to have a child then use common sense and protect yourself, because u can not expect others to look after your own child necessities.

and birth control wont work. they want babies, its their right.
Very powerful. I am glad HRW is covering this, it is a tragedy that should not be occurring in 2009.
