A nice summer evening with two trikes flying around 80 km journey to Iisalmi and back. Occasinal clouds and showers, which we stayed out of.

  • Are you always within gliding distance of a field?

  • @jimbobheath Nope, Its just like any other aircraft. You have to fly within your fuel consumption rate and operational limits. For this particular Trike its around 12l/h with 65l tank, which makes roughly 5 hours.

  • @jimbobheath Sry, I was referring to "Pegasus Quik" trike model with those specs... not the one seen on this video.

  • Excellent one seater !! 5 stars

Is it a Rotax 503 ? How much is the cons. at crusing around 70 80-kmh ?

Unique wing shape, unique vertival flap, unique doubled nose wheels ! Unique machine !!!!4

  • Yup, its Rotax 503. Consuming somewhere around 10L/h.

It's actually a two seater, if you look carefully I have a 20L reserve Jerrycan tied on the back seat. Otherwise it would have been a one way ticket on this trip.

Dual wheel configuration is bit stiff while taxiing, but works nicely on soft soil.

  • Beautiful video...congratulation... could you tell me What song is that??? THANK YOU

  • It's Ozzy Osborne's "Dreamer"

  • Whats the plan if the engine quits?

Whats the plan if the engine quits?

  • @curea229 I meant more lateral traction than you'd want.

  • @kaptipepe Hey dude, awesome vid. But I don't get the nose gear, why the two wheels. Seems less stable, and possibly less lateral traction that you'd want up front in the nose.

    Finland's beautiful country.

  • Great stuff. I fly a Cosmos Bison with a 503 in Washington USA. Fly safe. Fly on.
