As far as I recall, when Congress dissolved the HUAC in 1975 the paper files were ordered sealed for fifty years - so they shouldn't be available until 2025. If there are audio or video files, they may be available either from NBC or the other networks, or from the Library of Congress?

That really reminds me of the show-trial of Galileo and many other scientists who happened to uncover the truth that went against political/religious (both intertwined)  agenda of the people in charge. They blamed Galileo and many a scientist of hate towards the Catholic Church, which then supposedly inspired them to make "false" findings, all of which turned out to be true so many years later. None of the "judges" had of course any knowledge about the science in question.

I love to see that happen. Just what we need, a bunch of agendists drunk on oil holding hearings about science they have no clue about and took other people decades to study and understand. A political inquisition.

About the evolutionary scientists, since 60% of Americans don't believe in evolution (including people like Ron Paul), you may be wrong on your "small voice". Again, most of these have no clue or degree related to biology in any way.

While I don't argue with you about the possibility the new conservative majority in Congress might eventually hold hearings to investigate whether the personal political beliefs of climate scientist have intentionally or unintentionally affected their findings about global warming; congressional committees will not convene an inquisition to question evolutionary scientist (christian fundamentalist are a small voice) such action would be foolish.

Climate science. The new Tea Part/Republican majority in the House of Representatives intends to hold witch hunt "investigations" of climate scientists. Make no mistake, for the The Tea Party fascists this is just the opening, to be followed up with attacks on biologists, geologists, and any other scientists whose views do not conform to christian fundamentalism and unbridled spewing of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.
