Guys, I get how you feel, so this is how I got rid of it myself:

1. Open task manager

2. Click on the processes tab

3. Start a program that is blocked by the fake virus protection

4. Look at the new process, there should be one that just opened

5. Search for that file on your computer (usually and .exe file)

6. Delete that file

That's basically how i got rid of it

I have a virus where if i click internet explorer or google chrome it says this site can pottentially cause viruses and then it kicks mee iff the Internet. So i cant download the link from the description on my computer (im currently using my phone as my internet) im only 13 so i didnt use my credit card on it or anything. Is there a way i can just wipeout everything on my computer?

I have the supposed "trial" of Spyware Doctor but after I let the software do its thing (scan the computer) it's telling me that I have to *REGISTER* the program in order to remove Vista AntiVirus 2012. So tell me why would you encourage an individual to do remove Vista Antivirus with the trial version of Spyware doctor when in reality a person has to *buy* the darn thing?

i think i have a virus, whenever i go to a site such as google the site says Your PC is infected! you can loose all your data, please activate your cloud av 2012 to REMOVE infection from PC

I got this virus from the sports site COVERS DOT COM. It took over my computer, disabled my compter, disabled McAffee. I immediately turned computer off. I went on my other computer and did research.

The longer you try to get rid of it...the faster this virus spreads to other parts of your computer.

UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING>>call a repairman. You'll end up having to wipe out your computer. This is not a virus to play around with.
