What else should Egyptians do to ensure the Mubarak era is over? How to keep the revolutionary spirit alive? Will the newly elected parties fulfill their promises under SCAF? When will the Council transfer power to civilian rule? Will there be any reason for the military to stay in power? And why aren't the secular democratic parties as popular as the West would like them to be? Bradley Blakeman and David Faros analyze the events that changed the Middle East, a year on.

  • This outcome reminds me of RON PAULs warnings..US keeps pushing other countries esp in the Middle East to overthrow dictatorship they instilled and add more money to overturn them only to have a more Islamic party put into power.. Ron PAUL 2012 !...

  • @BNPpatriot What an illiterate comment! Egypt and Israel got into a standstill and Egyptians wouldnt back down and atleast we achieved something and didn't just go around raping countries and stealing their hard work.... For godsakes Egypt has more history in one of it's sand grains than the us has put together

  • @wikifacts Yes please do... Cuz the last guy was Americas bitch let's try someone who won't be their bitch cuz they'll have morals!

  • @abarzilai664 What are u talking about?! Had they lost Israel would NEVER considered negotiations! Egypt defended it's land and they refused to let it fall into enemy hands and that's why they negotiated

  • @covertgreen Lol they did offer tho... I saw it on the Arabic news... They offered the military money with a few "guidelines" but it was refused

  • Well it is there religion that manifest dictatorship. There real problem is poverty. My Goodness most of the dead people or people getting kill don't even have shoes. When you look at the people that where being urinated on .They were poor , they were dirty and no education Got killed for who knows what didn't even have and then they were urinated on.Them people have so many problems its deppressing.

  • Wowie, those Egyptians sure do write nicely in English, just like the white and delightsome Americans.

  • LAND OF THE FREE HOME OF THE BRAVE, I cant remember were is this land?

let them - the people of Egypt - speak first, stop over talking them. We don't care what you think if your going to put your own ideals above the people who have a right to protect their sovereignty and determine their own practices in regards to international relationships - BACK OFF BULLY BOY.
