How to draw a 7th century Celtic knot found in the book of Durrow. Jason Bellchamber shows the steps involved in constructing a design which first occured on a few Pictish Crosses of the late 6th century and then early Celtic artifacts like the Book of Durrow and standing crosses in Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Britain of the early 7th century. This knot is a culmination of Saxon, Celtic and Pictish influences that came together once these cultures all had began converting to Christianity in the 6th century.
