    Awesome insight! In my personal work, I've managed gradually to align the various "I's" so that for the most part long term/short term goals have a chance to be accomplished. Beyond that, forming the self that observes the waking self has been a huge help.

  • dmac333100 The idea in the Gurdjieff Work that man is a biological machine is a good footing to begin at. The Work Itself is designed to produce a certain effect in the workman who applies it to themselves. In the Gurdjieff Work man is also many, not one. He is a conglomerate of various I's or groups of I's constituting his identity as a person.
