Sy Hersh: US Already Attacking Iran 6/29/08

Seymour Hersh, Pulitzer Prize winning investigative journalist for the New Yorker, has an annoying habit of being right about this sort of thing. He broke the Abu Ghraib story long before the MSM even had a sniff of it.

In this clip he talks about his latest article titled, "Preparing the Battlefield" with Candy Crowley on CNN's Late Edition. Sy reports that the US is already engaged in clandestine operations in Iran.

Nothing the US government does surprises me anymore (especially with Bush in charge). I'm sure the blowback is coming.

It's all part of the cynical plan: 1) Claim there are terrorist in a country and send in the CIA to cause trouble. 2) Agitate the people to the point that they strike back at the US with a terrorist attack. 3) The US screams, "I told you so," and starts a war.

Another reson there needs to be an Amendment for limitations on the Congressional "secrecy" clause in the Constitution. These people should play more chess or stratego.
