  • 5:55 I thought he was just going to keep leaning left til he fell over...

Though I am an Atheist I have alot of respect for Hindus. Hinduism is one of the few religions where the followers are genuinely kind, peaceful, and respectful of everyone because of what they practice. I have never once met a Hindu who wasn't all of those things.

  • Thank you very much for posting this amazing documntry about hinduism.I salute to your work and compassion.

  • Why do Hindus believe male souls are older than female souls? I mean wouldn't there have to have been females around to give birth to these old souls?

  • @hbaimtihdia lol

  • @hbaimtihdia Well, it's absolutely true, of course, that the roots of Islam and these religious ideas have been developped long before Mohammed came around, so to say Islam is 1400 years old isn't truly fair, but you could also say the same of Christianity because both have their roots in the religion of Abraham. The same can be said of Hinduism, that it has, similarly, very ancient roots but it's not the same religion practiced by the Vedic people, some ideas has evolved over time to a degree.

  • for the record, Egypt had temples in 13th century BC, not to say that decreases the magnitude of hindu religion.

  • @hbaimtihdia Btw, there are many more prophets Allah send, which I do not know the names of and therefore couldn't mention.

  • hmmm with all due respect to the hindu scholar in the video, when a scholar speaks of other religions, they should have the correct knowledge of it Insha'Allah. Islam is not 1400 yrs old. The name Islam was given to the religion 1400 yrs back, but it started with Prophet Adom (pbuh), Noah (pbuh), Ibrahim (pbuh), Yusuf (pbuh), Musa (pbuh), Dawd (pbuh), Solayman (pbuh), Isa (pbuh) and finally to seal the coming of Prophet, there came Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) 1400 yrs ago :)

    Yeah

    That's exactly my point lol

It's transcendental. Hence: "you don't know it, and I don't know it"

I was saying that whatever 'truth' there is, it is completely unknown to us. Take Brahman for example. Brahman is a transcendental concept and completely out of our reach, but it captures the idea of what most would think "absolute truth" is.
