If you are familiar with the properties and general uses of NAC's normals, specials, and Arc Drives I suggest that you watch Part 2. This is intended for people new to the character and anyone else who is interested in NAC (ha!), but never managed to find the time or motivation to mess around in training mode with him.

  • 2B is not air unblockable, by the way. If it was it'd be a lot better.

    623A and B are both + on block(as I recall 623A is +1, 623B is +3).

    Only skimmed the video, might have missed some things, I'll look at it again later.

  • @qaenyin Thanks! I figured 2B was air unblockable since I always catch people right when they go to jump out, but that's probably for other reasons. I also knew that 623A and B were +, but forgot to edit it in due to distractions and such. Eh, I might have to re-record the H-moon stuff now after reflecting back...

  • I like the focus on normals. A lot of other airdash games have THAT crowd, which typically means OMG IDK HOW TO SPACE OR USE MY NORMALS BUT I MEMORIZED 90 HIT MIXUP COMBO SO IM GOOD RIGHT?

  • @mynameistnb Guides for mix-up and/or combos don't really go over the character in complete detail since they're aimed towards people that either already know how the character's normals work, have at least a faint idea of how they work, or generally expect you to find out on their own.

    I've decided to try and cover as much as I can for any actual guide I plan to make, and try to label each video appropriately depending on content.

  • I wanted to know how to use Half-Moon NAC, as it has a quite different set of normals

  • @MBBaronAshura Half-Moon NAC is just like normal Neko Arc with a different special or two without the ability to EX cancel out of specials.

  • @KatzNinja That's because jumps have a few frames of startup.

  • @frustratedsquirrel Despite what has been said, there still is a character there. Might not be as built as the rest of the cast, but he still has things that could make him dangerous in the right hands. You just need to work on blocking correctly more since you die in roughly two combos.

  • @KatzNinja Eh, at least you know that by picking him you have at least 80% chance of throwing any self-respecting opponent off their game. That's got to count for something.

  • @frustratedsquirrel That's 'cause NAC isn't that good, or so I've been told. He has poor health (ko'd in about a combo and a half), low damage, lacks mix-up, short stagger strings, and most of his specials aren't very good. However, I have seen people make him work. /shrug
