Fixing a Frigidaire Front-Load Washer that Won't Spin

This client contacted me via email at 9pm using the Service Call Request form at my website, http://applianceguru.com and I was there the next day to repair the no-spin problem with her washer. In this video, I explain a couple of short cut techniques for diagnosing a bad door latch assembly in this washer. door latch issue saw ur video did all u said ordered part put in and still tries to catch but wont. took off top and pulled dl plugs and reconnected to c if loose still no but i tapped the side of the assembly for those plugs and it worked. weird did 2 loads no issue than same thing happens, tries to catch but doesnt and with the top still on machine if i hit the side of my machine it clicks in and works. weird tell me please what u think. tks

Sounds like a loose wire harness connection somewhere. You'll need to disconnect and reconnect all the wire harness throughout the machine: time, door latch, speed control board, etc. This is where you earn your stripes!

I just paid almost $200 to replace the control panel on my front loader but its still not spinning. Repair guy said my motor was fine. When he came back to see why it wasn't working he changed the motor but it's STILL not spinning. Not only is it NOT spinning machine shuts off. Is that a door latch issue or something else.When asked if the motor & control panel are the only parts that could be repair he said yes. Clearly not true. What do you suggest?

The only other two parts that can cause a no-spin condition in this washer are the door latch assembly and the motor control board. Beyond, loose wire harness connections can be a problem, too.

Hey Aaneesah Amatullah did you try cleaning of the hose's inside of your washer you may have to clean the hose's out

mine wont wash or spin and its a side loader bought in 02 HD extra quiet
