This video was taken from Toyoko Inn Takanawa-guchi (13th floor or so). The windows faces the busy Shinagawa Station. 5 commuter lines, operated by Keikyu and JR East, stops at Shinagawa. The Shinkansen (bullet train) Tokaido Line, operated by JR Central, also makes a stop here.

A major stop along the Yamanote Loop, Shinagawa Station is considered the southern entrance into Central Tokyo. More than 900,000 rides are made through Shinagawa on a daily basis.

  • This video is great!

  • Thanks for the compliment. I'm really into Japanese trains, but I don't get a lot of opportunities to shoot videos as I live in Canada.

Really appreciate you and other train enthusiasts here on youtube for posting train videos so that I can still indulge in this hobby from a place 10000+ kms away.
