  • where could i find the woven carbon fiber mats for sale?

  • @Ready2Run1 Buy carbon fibre cloth at any good fibreglass materials supplier. General purpose 198gm cloth is what I use, and here in Oz it's about $90 a metre. Matting offcuts can be used in a fibreglass job, but not as much in a carbon fibre lay-up as most of us want that nice, neat weave of the cloth showing through. So you've gotta buy pieces of c/fibre cloth big enough to almost cover your job in one piece, but the offcuts can still be used in small jobs afterwards.
