There is absolutely NO REASON to hunt mountain lions. They are hunted by misfits who have nothing better to do. If it gives you a rush to kill an animal, see a therapist. These are beautiful animals who's lives are worth more than the hunters. Lions only kill to survive, hunters kill them for jollies, who's the smart one? A female is almost NEVER without kittens, so killing her causes 2 to 4 kittens to starve to death. As for protecting lvestock and livelihood? Do we shoot shoplifters?

But man come on hunting really isnt that bad as long as they harvested the animal and didnt waste anything then who cares. (I wound up watching the video now), as long as they didnt kill it for no reason, is what i;m trying to say here, but everyone is intilted to their opinion and i respect yours

The chances are that this cat was killing livestock and something needed to be done because the cat was destroying a mans lively hood ( in most cases) I agree killing a animal for sport is screwed up but wheater it's to eat or save your lively hood hunting is ok. plus you can eat cougar it actually taste pretty damn good

@BreadsBlueticks Let's be real, I am not against hunting, but killing a living creature is very different than racing an RC car or boating or hop scotch. You are comparing apples to oranges. The problem is when you cross that line of hunting and eating and just hunting for sport. Personally, I would not hunt a big cat because I wouldn't eat a big cat. Killing is not a sport, it's a form of survival.
And personally, I got here just by searching mountain lion because they are amazing creatures.
