DDRX US Cabinet is Terrible

"Songs being on sync is the least of my issues with the US cabinet. The HD is annoying, and watching a delayed response on the screen is especially annoying when I have to step about a whole inch away from when the arrows are lined up with the targets.

I played the US cabinet tonight and will be uploading a couple videos shortly.

IT WAS TERRIBLE. I have never been so disappointed with a bemani product in my entire life. The flimsy piece of sheet metal that looked like it had been staplegunned to the pads made bracketing even harder because the panels were so sunk in. The sensors had practically no response and the foot ratings and charts were horrendous as usual. I consider this the death of DDR in my eyes and I will most likely never have faith in Bemani again. Sorry, Rebirth isnt perfect, but I don't understand how anyone can think misrated 8 footers with poor step placement written by 40 year olds (and now on a mediocre machine!) who've no understanding to competitive tier playing can be fun or even challenging without being stupid. I'm going to pretend the past 7 years didnt happen and keep playing Extreme when I decide to play DDR."

You should be blaming Betson for the shitty cabinets more than you should blame Konami for DDR X itself. Bemani is still generally high quality (IIDX, Pop'n), this is just a rotten release in particular.

That is not true, and it is Konami's fault for continuing to work with them. Bemani still continues to use Konami as it's publisher, which still continues to use Betson as its distributor.

I'm going to blame the source of this problem, not just the distributors.

Not too mention, Bemani made these charts, and they're hysterical.

ugg so terrible. The arcades might as well ship a JP DDRX cab. Infact not saying this is a perfect idea, but get a revamped ITG cab and put it on some kind of dual boot. Like if you wanna play ITG select this, if you wanna play DDR play this. I mean besides the charts and the pads DDR isn't so bad... oh wait thats everything XD

HORRENDOUS lag!!! My goodness there was lag in the beta BEFORE the real version was released. Now it's released, and apparently Betson hasn't learned ANYTHING!! I would much rather spend more money for something that is high-quality that you don't have to replace rather than this piece of crap which will probably have to be serviced a lot. I wanna cry. It seems everything is getting worse since Extreme :( Boo hoo!!!

Konami removed Dynamite Rave for EU ver and replaced it with the new Lyrics. So I guess that's bad for you guys....
