  • hey ive been wanting to make slides, are there any special supplies needed to do this ?

  • @Fidlesticks100 Nothing special really. I use a 14mm female as a holder (chucked in the headstock.) A strip of graphite tape slid into the female to buffer heat and allows a quicker release of the 14 mm male glass ground joint which is sealed to the tube size of your choosing. Im using something like 32mm x 4mm tube. A set of tongs with heat wrapped ends oh, and Graphite bowl push as well. Takes a little practice but once you get a system down you can really crank em out. Thanks!
