Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Steven Curtis Chapman and Pastor Greg Laurie present "An Evening of Hope," captured live at Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, Calif., on Sunday, November 15.

Chapman performed songs from his new CD, Beauty Will Rise, and Laurie shared thoughts about suffering, hope, and heaven.

Both Chapman and Laurie lost children in automobile accidents in 2008, and share a common desire to offer hope and encouragement to people who are suffering loss.

This full program with Greg Laurie and Steven Curtis Chapman is available online throughout the Christmas season.

  • Wow. My wife and I thought this was a sermon on Christmas; but this shows how got knows EXACTLY what He is doing. We lost our father this year; and this spoke to us so deeply. Ptaise God, for no matter how dark the night -our Lord is the Light. God Bless Greg, Steven, and all the countless hurting people out there. The pain will be over soon and God's Glory will reign!

  • Greg has taught me more about my faith in God than I have ever learned in 23 years! Truly God is speaking through him. Praise God forever! =)

  • Thank you Greg Laurie for your ministry!! I've listened to several of your videos and the stories of courage are truly inspiring and strengthening. Many blessings to you as you continue your ministry to bring the lost to Christ!!

  • Speechless

  • Steven is such a giant in the faith! His music has ministered to me through all types of circumstances, but never have I seen him so ministered to by his own songs. I pray God comforts and continues to use him to bless others in the most dynamic and profound way. He is so brave to be so vulnerable and honest and yet so full of hope to reach out through his hurt to touch the hearts and lives of the people. May he be comforted with the same comfort with which he comforts others (Isaiah 40) :)

  • that's awesome that you're learning to let God's love take you in!! For me, I'm 18, I find the best way to show someone God's love is to just show them how His love has changed you! :)

  • It is taken me a while to post anything but I wanted to let you know that this really moved me. I lost my father/friend this year and have been struggling to cope with it. I am thankful that you did such a wonderful program on Hope and are so forward with coping with your own loss. God Bless!!

  • Hi Greg I have been looking for where to comment on your channel and have not found anywhere. But I really wanted to ask you something, becuase a few of your videos made a lot of sense. By the way I'm a Christian(or I wouldn't be on here). =) I'm only 14 and still seeking God as many others are, and I am starting to feel the love of God, and I need help on how to talk to my friends about him. I see kids in my school who could use the love of God, how do I tell them, and get them to church?!

  • Praise the arrival of our Savior!
