went and bought me a $20 subwoffer from walmart its a 400watt max vr3 sub it looks cool but its not gonna last you can see me build a box out of cardboard well 2 for my room and see how it sounds
it would be cool if some people posted responses of there in home cheap cardboard sub boxes

Not necessarily is bigger better , it all comes down to design an ported or not an MDF an or plexi an so on.... as eq and frequency tuning and finally not buying anything at walmart they are the worst thing to have in America
cardboard will never work well. IMO an I have a degree in sound engineering and studio design an traveled worldwide doing sound live an recorded live and studio work.
