International Space Station Expedition 30 astronaut Don Pettit demonstrates water oscillations on a speaker in microgravity, and ZZ Top rocks the boat 250 miles above Earth for "Science off the Sphere." It would be cool to see, but 1080 would be hard to upload from space! They currently only have a limited bandwidth up there which allows them to update ground control and upload SD videos. Would be awesome to see though. Maybe in the future! :)

He uses "low" frequencies because that is where the water's Natural Frequency lies. He is probably not low enough to hit the natural frequency because it appears to be "mildly" destructive interference. This experiment is similar to a kid in the bathtub going back and forth to cause a "huge" wave in the tub. Science 101 in space.
