I had Christmastime Is Here Again some time in the early 90s after buying it in Greenwich Village, then it came out in 1995, got tons of bootlegs in the Vilage in the early 90s then all these bands released them on their box sets in the late 90s.

@monkeysoulpoet It is indeed - I can't seem to post a link here, but it's an easy find.

@Vincek88 Is Running, Jumping... on Youtube?
Elvis was also a huge Peter Sellers fan, and he bonded with Lennon over that. Also, Holy Grail was one of his favorite movies.
-
@monkeysoulpoet Oh, absolutely! See also: The Running, Jumping, and Standing Still Film, with Richard Lester, Milligan, Peter Sellers, and Bruce Lacey and Leo McKern (both in "Help!")

@Vincek88 Magical Mystery Tour was made in 1967, and Do Not Adjust Your Set started earlier that year, so it's hard or impossible to say. All the Pythons minus Gilliam (who first did his animations for Do Not Adjust...) had written for the Frost Report in 1966. Cleese was the only one who had acted on the show, but Palin also had onscreen experience by then.
I don't mean to diss the Beatles, but it's really a matter of all of them being influenced by the Goons and especially Spike Milligan.

@monkeysoulpoet I wonder who knew who, when. I heard Neil Inness talking about recording with the Bonzo Dog Band in the same studio as the Beatles, and he was in the show 'Do Not Adjust Your Set' with Eric, Michael, and Terry, later of the Pythons. The Bonzos appeared on 'Magical Mystery Tour'. Paul produced their "I'm The Urban Spaceman", and much later George guested (hilariously) on Eric and Neil's "Rutland Weekend Television" Christmas show...
