@premiergold08 This is his favourite hymn. And it's not specific to mormonism. He tries not to alienate people of different beliefs while still being true to his own. That's my guess as to why he chose this one over something like How Great Thou Art etc.

Amazing, very moved by his pure and soulful singing.

After a stresstul and chaotic day, I listen to David sing and

my soul is in peace and I'm strengthened and full of joy.

Kind of corny maybe, but his soothing soulful voice wash away the tiredness of the day. I'm ready for a new day. thank you, a special angel, we're blessed.

I agree with BJC143211. I've seen him 3x also, every time is just as amazing as the first. Video does him no justice (altho I appreciate the videos! Brings back memories!). Didn't much care for this song tho. Didn't move me at all. David's voice was beautiful ... but why not sing "How Great Thou Art" or some other Mormon anthem if he is dedicating it to God?
