This is a rare video of a unknow Alan Jackson on the TNN show "You Can Be A Star"! This was a few years before Jaskson made it big. He worked on this show and many TNN shows as a cue card guy!

That can't be Alan Jackson,who is now "Kicko Jacko". It sure doesn't look like him. Maybe it's another guy with the same name but was not born Alan Eugene Jackson like the megastar was.

Alan Jackson sure looked a lot different here. This was from the early or mid-1980's,I'm assuming. This is a brown-haired Alan Jackson who must have later bleached his hair blonde. I also notice how Jackson is always wearing a hat,either a cowboy hat or a baseball cap. The man must be bald in some areas and he wants nobody to see them except his wife and children in the privacy of their own home. LOL

@arhuxtable yea if you watch some live stuff, at the end he will tip his hand. I know back in the early 90s when he first hit big that he was very light on the top. He worked at TNN before he got his big break, thanks to his wife giving Glenn Campbell a demo tape. I am shocked that he didn't just trash it after he got off the plane. I am sure he has gotten many tapes over the years.

Alan said in an interview once that he has a big scare on his hair line and thats why he wears a hat! This is the show that also voted RANDY TRAVIS off of there too, so there ya go:)

@HerbWalker Randy didnt even make it to the show, just sent in a tape. You can see a clip of that tape on my channel. Alan at the time was working for TNN and notice one of the judge's on stage is his soon to be producer

Oh! thats Alan alright. Id know him anywhere and cant mistake that voice. Never seen this before, but I think its cool. They should of let us hear the whole thing.
