@1327177 I did this with my leopard geckos (before seeing this) and it worked with them, and I'm doing it with my crested. I've also seen people tame Tokay's this way, so I'm sure it'll work with other Chameleon's. Though, it all depends on the lizard. They do have different personalities.

Yes, you want constant ambient temperatures 72F. I recommend a ceramic heater and keeping your Panther in a smaller room to keep the temperature 72. They can handle down to 65 for a few days if you are in a real cold snap and can't keep your house that warm. Just keep the ceramic heater near the habitat and branches that can bring him close to his heat lamp. I'll post up a vid of my current free range setup which utilizes both.

@youngcrestie: vields are tougher for sure. Follow the steps of this video. It's not complicated it just takes patience. Every day work with them and eventually they will adapt to you
