Why would you think the best place to get information would be the White House? I suppose a couple months ago you might have said the IPCC, but we both know they have been completely discredited. I get my information from following politics, and this is completely a political issue... not an environmental one. I can't name a source because I follow many sources on both sides of the issue. I follow the news, I watch documentaries, I analyze things logically. You are obviously fu*king emotional.

I repeat.. I'm all for real environmentalism, but the movement has been hijacked. You can legislate companies not to pollute without taxes every man woman and child $2000+ per year. That is conservative number, and the number those proposing the legislation say it will cost us.

The environmental movement has been hijacked by Al Gore, and his for profit (HUGE profit) buddies. Let's cut pollution, let's use more renewable energy, but let's not place and insanely huge tax (over $2000/year/person) on everyone so Al Gore can become at minimum a billionaire, and probably a trillionaire.
