TBH the way i see it is that it is ok to have a private/funserver if you have a live account. I like private servers because you get to have fun and do w/e you want in raids/environment that you would have trouble with on a live server. People who only use private servers and don't have a live account (if they run out of money and still want to play thats fine imo, its the people who chose not to pay) that screw it up.

i love how my prot warrior soloed Maiden at 80, yet this guy needs a private server to do it (yes i saw the date, if he considers soloing KARA on a private server fun then gl to him...)

i play retail AND private, once in a while when i get bored from live, i play private for a perioed of liek a week, then back to live... i enjoy both
