  • I dont appreciate music

  • Why do my hands have to be so small? I want to play the octave etude.

  • @ChopinLiszt82 nah, he just had a hangover... trust me... I know...

  • Cziffra does a great job of conveying emotion in this technically demanding piece. This has to be one of my favorite Chopin études. Brava!

  • chopin loved these wrods 'allegro con fuoco' beethovne loved 'allegro/allegretto' liszt loved 'dolce' i love these names 'chopin, beethoven, liszt'

  • What is this?!?

  • @tomekkobialka about hamelin... it's okay to know that truth you stated, but if you hear that every while you want to kill somebody XD

  • @tomekkobialka thinking too much about music when im the one playing is tiring and pointless, i go by what i consider good for whatever situation im playing so i don't overthink things

when playing for people, i don't have any prob, those who understand will know if you have done your work and you re on a bad day! you play for them

the untrainded ear will just like it wether you play 100% or 75%... when you play for juries etc, you think you re at home playing and focus your stare at the piano

  • @alejandrothefader "when you start, it's all over, you must be one with the music, or else you've lost it..." that's why people get nervous! ;) "IF you control your nerves"...that makes me even more nervous. :/

Anyway, I didn't mean to cut the person's wings, I appreciate that s/he put a lot of time and effort to be able to play such a difficult piece...but I was just quoting Hamelin. ;)

  • @tomekkobialka shit man, don't be so pedantic... the guy managed to learn the piece 3 weeks some hours and 5 minutes ago and you cut him his wings before flying... and the day you play you perform exactly as you have practiced if you control your nerves... the prob is nerves and not having any memory lapsus... when you start, it's all over, you must be one with the music, or else you've lost it... there is only you and the piano... and then you perform beautifully
