4-4-2, 400 cubic inch, 4 barrel carburetor and dual exhausts. This was Oldsmobile's answer to the muscle car wars of the day. This 1965 Oldsmobile 442 is in great shape and is finished in a beautiful aqua exterior with black interior. Under hood you'll find the numbers-matching 400CI V8 mated to an automatic transmission putting power into a 3.25 rear gear. This is a restored car with power steering and power brakes. Top it off with the original AM radio and set of wire hubcaps no one will expect this car to run them down. • This is an awesome car. We are selling it for one of our clients. It is very clean. It amazes me sometimes to think what parts of the country these old cars have seen and who along the way took such good care of it.

  • It IS 400 cubic inches for 65. In 1964, when it first came out, it stood for 4-spd, 4 barrel and dual exhaust. In 65, the automatic became available and so the designation changed as well. I owned a 2-dr sedan just like this one with the exception that it was black and had a 4 spd. muncie. Bench seats and all. 4:56 gears in the back. Great car--fast too!

  • I love this car..My father had one and I was almost born in the back seat, Imagine this...he sold it for 900 bucks sometime around 1985..bummed me out big time...

  • its not 400 cubic inch its 4 speed transmission

  • Awesome machine and it is beautiful!

That music however is just god awful. jeez A lame overplayed Tom Cochrane song. The only thing worse could be the who.

  • What is artist ?

  • Classic! Love the 65!
