  • Funny how you can tell the personality of each member by the way they are dressed. So different and yet so alike. No wonder CHICAGO has managed to stay together 40+ years.

  • Don't forget Oh, Thank You Great Spirit on VIII, Poem 58 on CTA, even Lowdown has killer licks, and then there is Sing A Mean Tune Kid on III, and Dialogue on V, it is a wah wah lesson (one more). and Uptown on XI, and most of the instrumental passages on IV. And waht about Byblos on VII, and South California Purples on CTA...I would sit Terry Kath at the same table with Jimi and a few others.

  • @Jim5150jvc,

Watch ELECTRA GLIDE IN BLUE again if you can.

Notice that WalT is wearing his "Loose Lips Sink Ships" T-shirt at some point during the movie?

This was one of the shirts he was wearing during the photo sessions for the LIVE AT CARNEGIE HALL photo set that was included in the original 4 LP set back in 1971.

  • @alphadogstudio I hear ya. Robert got 'em fixed not long after.

  • Peter slays me!

  • Damn, whats up with those teeth? I guess Chicago didn't have a dental plan. Not to mention Terry's leisure suit! These guys were great back then though no doubt about it!

  • Is there a way this song could get released on a cd? From what I researched this show aired in the winter of 1973. I wish they could put all the music on this show on a record/cd. I know these were live recordings but like this song it is the only recording available..

  • Chicago (original band) was simply phenomenal! ..if you're a fan..a must read is Danny Seraphine's "Street Player" book

  • Then you have the musical morons who actually think that the lineup with Bill Champlin was bettter. Egads...you can't beat the original!

  • @ABCGUITAR Rob Lamm (the keyboard player) and the 3 horn players: Lee Loughnane, Jim Pankow, and Walt Parazaider. Bass guarist Pete Cetera, lead guitarist Terry Kath and drummer Danny Seraphine are long gone...

  • Conclusive evidence that the original lineup was the only one that mattered as far as Chicago goes....
