It's a brown thrasher, Georgia's state bird. It is a very close cousin to the eastern mockingbird, in both looks and song talent. It has a long body and tail, and is usually slim (unless it's a female... which is a little stockier).

I think its a Brown Thrasher.
put "brown thrasher" and "usgs" into google and it will bring up a page on the bird.
