Dynaudio and MSI developed a real hifi sound approach for the new top model of the MSI notebook series. The all new GT660 Gaming Notebook is the first Notebook that displays a special logo on its keyboard: Sound by Dynaudio.

The development of the Dynaudio engineers was not only focused on the loudspeaker drivers. The integrated approach covers the driver basket, vocie coil and diaphragm, driver housing and the cabinet architecture as well as the positioning of the speakers in the notebook. A no compromise approach was also the guideline when improving the sound card and its digital sound processing (DSP) by the Dynaudio sound experts.

The finally presented first MSI Notebook with a 2.1 Sound by Dynaudio loudspeaker system offers a level of sound quality unheard of from a notebook until now.

  • @AiDz0r

"Beats Audio", like Monster Cable, is a marketing gimmick created by Dr.Dre and can't compare to REAL Hi-Fi quality of Dynaudio.

  • Certainly beats the B&O speakers on the new Asus notebooks!!!

  • The sound IS good. Crisp highs, good mids and a soft but "creamy" sort of bass. To put it simply, the sound does have some sense of "weight" to it thanks to the Dynaudio speakers. It sounds very crisp but heavy. I personally enjoy how the laptop rumbles when I raise the volume all the way, lol.

The sound wasn't as loud as I was led to believe from reading on forums, but it IS louder than most laptops...just not loud to where your "neighbors will ask you to turn it down". Worth the investment.

  • I bet this promo was recorded using Dynaudio microphones...

  • @jetpack1986 I posted that comment a year ago and since then I've found out who Dynaudio is =X

  • I have this laptop, best built-in speakers in a laptop i have ever heard, no joke. Im mostly using my headphones, but its loud enough to be heard from downstairs at maximum.

  • built-in soulution amp and magico speakers would be pretty chill.

  • MSi is the fucking shit! I got one of their gaming notebooks and it is AWESOME!

  • @doomtomb3 "Looks gross with the way they butcher the Y like that."

ahahahaaa ooh my ass hurts, thanks or making my day! anyway this company is being used in VW vehicles now! my golf GTI has dynaudio! it's a pretty good system! so you can call it popular!

  • mmmm, authentic sound from a notebook ... and now we want to hear how it can fly you home with its powerful fans deveroped with by Boeing.
