The last song of the night at the Wexner Center for the Performing Arts in Columbus, Ohio on 18 July 2009; Chaos and the end of the show. The band started inviting the crowd on stage and the "security staff" (the old guy and the one girl on stage with the headset), try to stop it.

  • You know what, I felt security was heavy handed. You take people out back NOT push them off the front of the stage!!! I do not condone violence, but Anthony saw something that he felt was too heavy handed and reacted with adrenaline in his veins. We don't know if he was told why they couldn't come up, so that would have been the mistake as it was not built for lots of people. I can't help it though, it was a FANTASTIC gig and this was just rock and roll man:-)

  • LOL, I love how Couleurs sounds live.

  • Girl Talk ALWAYS invites fans on stage during a performance. The only damage ever incurred is to his own laptop. I'm all for letting people do their jobs, but M83 should be allowed to invite people on stage if they want. If the venue had a problem, it should have been discussed beforehand.

  • Teen angst.

  • The venue they're letting the band use? Well, what giving people they are.

  • you mean controlling people in the venue that they own and operate and are letting the band use? if they don't want to be "controlled" they should go play in a field.

  • And your point is what? This is the equivalent of security and cops chasing skateboarders away. A bunch of douche bags trying to control people.

  • what does the band have to do with anything? just because the band wants to be idiots doesn't mean the venue has to let them and risk a civil suit if someone gets hurt or something getting damaged.

  • The description says the band invited the crowd to the stage for the final song so wtf are you talking about?

  • I work at a music venue, so I probably have been to more concerts then anyone who has posted on here combined. Some security are assholes, yeah, but so are some fans, band members, promoters, cashiers, lawyers, grandmothers, etc. don't lump them all together. this guy was just doing his job; no one knows what was said between the two. maybe he asked him to get off and the guy wouldn't listen. go to ANY music venue, no one lets people on stage.

  • Have you ever been to a concert before? If you had been you'd know that security usually acts like assholes to everyone. Make sure no one has a gun; after that move the fuck off!
