I saw M-A this summer at the Ravinia Festival in Chicago. His program was very interesting and satisfying. His playing was at his super-virtuosic best. It was one of the most memorable performances of an artist that I will ever have seen. My favorite pieces were his transcriptions of Weissenberg's songs by Charles Trenet. They're available on his CD, "IN A STATE OF JAZZ." Spectacular artistry.
