Rusty's Top 25 Movies Of 2007 (part 1, 25-11)

Anyone who knows me knows that I am a big movie buff. So, after watching close to 150 movies from 2007, these are my picks for the top movies of the year. These have nothing to do with Box Office numbers or other critics. This is just my opinion of the best movies of the year.

My countdown included some of the best of the year, such as (in no particular order) No Country For Old Men, Juno, Eastern Promises, Gone Baby Gone, and 3:10 To Yuma. It also has some underrated movies, such as Rescue Dawn, In The Valley Of Elah, Fracture, The Lookout, and Reign Over Me. Not missing from my year end countdown (unlike most other year end lists) are the comedies, such as Superbad, Knocked Up, Walk Hard, The Simpsons Movie, I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry, Bee Movie, Mr. Woodcock, Norbit, and The Ex. Other movies making the countdown were Beowulf, Alpha Dog, Death Sentence, Shooter, Breach, and Mr. Brooks. So, which one of these will be number 1?

So watch my video for the top picks of 2007 and then leave me some comments letting me know which picks you agreed with, which picks you disagreed with, which movies weren't on the countdown but should have been, and which movies should not have been on the countdown at all. And don't be too harsh. These are just my opinions.

Not too much. I did see Bruno this weekend. It was funny, but quite disturbing in some parts. Not as good as Borat IMO.

I really liked this list of movies. In my opinion Oceans Thirteen should have made the list. Mr. Woodcock, Norbit, and The Ex are absolutely awful. If you could make a list of 2008 movies that would be great. Thanks. Great list

I really wasn't planning on making a list for 2008 cause I found it to be a bad year for movies. I do have some of my favs of the year listed on my channel though.

saw this video randomly... and i saw mostof the movies you mentioned andi really liked your picks, one thing thought... i wish you said more about death sentence, to me it was a really good movie, kinda like up there with taken.

I agree with almost all of these. Really good movies, especially Reign Over Me, Alpha Dog, and definitely Death Sentence. I loved that movie so much. Good list!
