Erm..... every one of those numbers you quoted is between three and four whole decades worth of warming at the predicted rate of 0.2°C/decade, you absolute plonker. Chuff chuff chuff WHOOO WHOOOO. Here come the clue train, and the next stop is lucky old you - Look up what zero is. Fuck me mate. Have a word with youself. Seriously. Learn to count. It's a useful skill for not making a complete knob of yourself.
This data is from the NASA website. Annual mean temperature anomalies for the last decade. year temp anomaly 2001 0.59 2002 0.66 2003 0.68 2004 0.63 2005 0.82 2006 0.75 2007 0.78 2008 0.59 2009 0.64 Is this warming? I think, not!
So are you suggesting we should ignore the opinion of a working geologist because he is a ...... working geologist? Getting paid by mining companies for his geology knowledge? Is that what you are suggesting! With absolute and resolute discip[line I won't mention Al Gore's $ billion.
Errors "on almost every page" eh? Right, that's a testable claim. List for your breathless audience every mistake Prof. Plimer wrote from pages 150 to 160. I have his book in front of me, waiting..... waiting...
@TheLeadster It is exceptional for an academic to write a book with errors, unsubstantiated assertions, misinformation and outright lies and fraud on almost every page. I guess the guy wants to keep making $400,000/year from his mining interests.
Prof. Plimer's new book Heaven & Earth, Global Warming the Missing Science is exceptional. He lists every argument for anthropogenic climate change and comprehensively refutes them. So the world will not end next Tuesday unless we destroy our economies today.
However, we also need a plan to adapt to change whatever it may be. The coral in the barrier reef is already starting to adapt by absorbing different types of bacteria that help it cope, yet humans are doing nothing, happy to build right up to the beach. Mind you, if the sea levels go back down 6m or so after global warming on the next phase of climate change, these houses won't have prime spot. If it goes up 2m as in the past, then we are in trouble. This doesn't change if man made or not.

@TheLeadster Being a geologist is ok - lying and committing academic fraud to protect your business interests is unacceptable.
