@lindsey8324 Magic Journeys was at the Magic Eye Theater in EPCOT Center before Captain EO. When EO came in, it moved into the building that had previously housed the Mickey Mouse Revue at the Magic Kingdom. It was then replaced there by Legend of the Lion King. THEN Philharmagic moved in. Confusing, innit?

@avastindi The message was a reply to velveetaslingshot directly below it. I think you're missing that context.

this is not very catchy

@dcsmooth it was to be a gemology pavilion. thats why it looks like a diamond.
-
It debuted in Epcot and was movied to Magic Kingdom after it was removed from Journey Into Imagination.
-
Actually no. It wasn't even finished when Epcot opened.

"The entire film's audio track (17' 55") exists in a bootleg form in trading circles. It was recorded onto a cassette directly from the theater's soundboard."
I have THE original cassette.. it was recorded off Disneyland's Magic Eye Theatre's projection sound board for me by a friend who was then a Disneyland employee.. I swear I am not making this up.. no, I won't upload it.. Disney and Kodak have better lawyers than I do.. the cassette is safely stored away..

I just found out the reason "Journey Into Imagination" pavillion looks like a big greenhouse is because it was originally suppose to be "The Land" pavillion.

It's a SPARK! by Mr. Figment! (Kind of a goofy dianosaur? and he's revealed in a clanky steam car (a la' Chitty Chitty Bang Bang) in the ride - Timeless - Infinite - Bye Bye Roy! See you in the Disney buffet line in the Morontial Kingdom......
@OneManAndHisFiction you've never been to Epcot I presume. The original Journey into Imagination is the best ride and forever will be the best. The POINT of the ride was to show how the imagination process works and to say each of us has imagination and it is a wonderful thing to have. That is the POINT of the ride.

I thought this 3D movie was in the Magic Kingdom back in the 80's where Mickey's Philharmagic is now? Not at EPCOT
