The closing song always made me sad, because the show was over and it was time to go to school.

@thekingof8 I actually found a Polkaroo hand puppet at a Value Village a few years ago :)
-
He was looking for his hash.

After finding a firework called "Screecheroo", my sister and I decided that would have been a much more awesome character on the show than the Polkaroo... All the kids would have been completely traumatized by its sould-shattering high pitched screech. Oh, to have been a children's TV producer in the 80s.

Nope, I work at TVO, and it's true!

LIES.

yes he does his is name Bear
-
You know what bugged me? Bear doesn't have a real name. The eggs were Humpty and Dumpty, the ragdoll was Marigold, but Bear was BEAR?? Even the mouse was STORYTIME MOUSE!
Does anyone know if they ever sold these toys in stores?

Yes, they did. I had the Teddy for a long time in the early 80s.
