USAID Nepal: Media Campaign Educates About Democracy

Nepal is a young democracy and many people are still unaware of its fundamental governing principles. USAID's Nepal Transition Initiative and a local partner launched a media campaign to educate the public on fundamentals of democracy including rule of law; right to private property; free, fair, and regular elections; and pluralism and freedom of expression. This video shows the campaign's public service announcement (PSA) aired on various national television channels. This PSA reminds people that in a democracy, there is rule of law which is applied equally to all.
