  • Great file and video, actually, this place actually exists in game still today, this is where the guides and GM's hang out when they aren't out in the public,

Not sure if they made their zone look like this because it was the first zone they created of what. later sony also added in a graveyard along with this zone, to honor the fallen guides and players, who made an impact on eq before they left, Pretty sad actually as most were due to cancer or accidental deaths.

  • Freakin' incredible for it's time, though.

  • Why do I miss this shot so much...

  • @Cutterxx4 EverQuest is based off of an engine created by 7th Level. 989 (RedEye / Verant / SoE) licensed the engine and modified it, calling it True3D for Tanarus and EverQuest.

  • @Lrbearclaw It was called Castle McQuaid

  • @sirgijoe not really the zone you're thinking of is actually Sunset Home

  • Does anyone know what I would use if I wanted to create this myself? C++ and what engine?

  • @VitoRocks03 I sometimes miss eq from those days you know.

    Good times,very good times.

  • @VitoRocks03 I remember one day going to westcommons i think it was called where the druid ring is and there was a ring,There was a wedding happening in game and the guy was acting like an asshat but he apologized eventually.

What i meant by this:Sometimes you do get lucky and find someone who is genuinely sorry,.

Also:Ultima online's community seems better than both everquest and runescape and wow.

World of warcraft has a not bad community but ultima online is all community.

  • @VitoRocks03 I was responding to eq getting snobby part

  • @VitoRocks03 Whatever i played eq for 7 years. On its own it was a good game but went downhill because people became greedy. It was especially nice game with all the amount of things to do.Too bad that you couldn't do them all because in 2006-2007 there was starting to get a big shortage of players.

  • @VitoRocks03 Well.. It certainly seems like you are trolling because you are going out of your way to put me down.
