  • This is great! I love Mistborn, and you hit the nail on the head on so many of the issues. I have to agree with you on Kelsier's awesomeness. He is pretty much amazing. I didn't think I would be able to keep reading the books after what happened to him, but I loved the other characters too, so I gave it a shot. (Thank goodness I did!) Just out of curiosity, did you see the plot twist with Vin's Kandra coming (from the second book)? I don't think shock is a strong enough word for what I felt...

  • @AmeeBlakeney I suspected the kandra once I realized it would have to be someone she didn't suspect, although I wasn't sure if I kandra could "die" or not.

  • Gueeeesssss WHOOOOOOOO :D

  • @gingaakitalover Hm I wonder. ;D

  • Did you ever think about becoming a professor of literature?

  • Not until you mentioned it. Probably not, mainly because I would hate telling people indirectly what to think.

  • I got to say it:

Mistborn Trilogy>Song of Ice and fire!!!

    Book Five sucks!!!!!

  • @lostship47

Honestly, I can't agree or disagree with you there.. I'm stuck on book 3, "Chains of Ice" right now.. But, I will say the first two books were actually very good. However, I still say the first two Malazan books aren't as good as the first two books of Ice and Fire... It's just different, very very different.. One heavily revolves around magic while the other is more military based with stronger character personalities..

  • @shauwn78 IMO, The Malazan Book of the Fallen> Ice and Fire.

  • i love the first misborn

  • awesome review! i really liked the books and thus i find myself looking up videos.

  • It was Preservation's plan the entire time Ruin! The entire time!

    So awesome.

  • hey, just thought youd like to know a funny thing. i was looking for info on his new mistborn book (alloy of law) and found your video, then i looked at the other books youve reviewed and i have read them all! you have good taste.

    thats all

  • Just finished the series yesterday. It's really awesome to see someone so enthusiastic about books I love myself. I was really amazed how the author transformed what seemed in the beginning like a straightforward plot into something so complex, intricate and well-planned where "evil" villains turned out not to be so evil and victories turned out to be defeats. It's pure genius! Good job on the review, and I'm surprised that your videos are almost the only ones for this book!

  • This was a very good review.

Have you ever read A song of Ice and Fire series by George RR Martin?? If not, you literally must read it immediately.. It's by far the greatest fantasy epic series ever written.. However, it's not completed yet, there are 4 books currently out now, with the 5th book due out hopefully by early spring next year..

Anyway, the first book is called, A Game Of Thrones.. If you like Sanderson, you'll fall in love with Martin,, literally. :)

  • the age of fantasy novels are finished, i won't be surprised that for all brandon sanderson's sublime creativity and technique, people won't read the tri-conclusion to Wheel of Time becuase everyone's in for Crime, Military and other stuff
