I do this with my dog. It's not a hard 'hit' at all. It's a very gentle tap and she usually nips at me, just as gently my 'hit', or she'll put her mouth around my wrist and stops. No pressure, no anger, just fun. It's like when we're romping around. :D

My doberman does the exact same thing. Only she usually starts on me by attacking my feet with her paws lol. Best breed of dog ever :)

Dobermans are so sweet they know how to hurt but not to cause damage when they bite.

My uncles doberman would aways jump on me and nibble away at me but would never hurt

I love Dobe's!! I had one, and yes, they are like that, very teeth ey...and it doesnt take much! But they are soo sweet and kind!!! I miss mine!! I will get another one when we move to teh country
